Christmas Kombucha Orange Punch
Christmas is just around the corner, and a warm kombucha punch is a must-have. This perfect alternative to mulled wine can be enjoyed with or without alcohol. Our recipe for an alcohol-free version is every bit as good as mulled wine. For this, you can simply buy our Raw Original Kombucha or use your own homemade kombucha.
Kombucha can help your gut digest all the Christmas indulgences and reduce feelings of fullness. With its many organic acids and vitamins, it can not only support the gut but also be effective against an unpleasant hangover.
Recipe – Hot Kombucha Orange Punch
You will need for 5 people:
- 1 liter kombucha (bought or homemade)
- 3 oranges
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anises
- 1 vanilla bean
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 large saucepan
Here's how to make it:
- Peel and segment the oranges
- Collect the orange juice
- Scrape the seeds from a vanilla bean
- Pour kombucha into the saucepan
- Add oranges, orange juice, star anise, vanilla bean seeds, and sugar to the saucepan
- Simmer everything over medium heat for 5 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved
Then decorate as desired and enjoy warm.
